Students’ Union’s Exam Mode Community Group

By Teo Coroiu

The Students Union created an official exam mode community group on Facebook to support all university studentto get through exam season easily.

The summer term examinations take place between 17 May and 11 June this year.

Students who are members of the group can share tips or ideas with other fellow members to getting the best out of their assessments or just to enjoy a bit of downtime and have a chat.

The group has several admins, including Student Reps and full-time SU staff to work together to uphold the group rules.

Students who have questions about why something was removed from the group, or any others concerns that they may have can ask the SU Angel.

In addition, the SU posted on their official website advice for students on how to avoid academic offenses such as collusion or plagiarism.

It`s important for students not to discuss their work during an assessment with anyone else, including on WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups, or any other social media platform.

Students are also asked to credit people for their work if they are going to quote them using the agreed referencing system of their departments.

SU Advice is always there for any student who is concerned about academic offences.
